What to lease for $2,000 a month?

Hey Oppo my dads looking to either take over a lease or just go and get a brand new lease for a car under $2,000 a month. He has been all over the place looking at the S550 S class Mercedes, BMW i8, Porsche 911, Jaguar F-type R, Audi R8 V10, and a few others.

His requirements are pretty much only under $2,000 a month and at least 1,000 miles a month. He also doesn’t want any leases over 2 years so 24 months at the max. Since his car selection is over all the place all bets are on for any vehicles you can find. Please don’t comment about how leasing sucks we already own 6 cars he just wants a nicer fun car that he doesn’t have to worry about maintenance on or keeping for a long period of time. Also no cars under $70k I already know people will comment with Subaru Outbacks or something similar we already have all the basic car needs fulfilled. If you find cars on any swap a lease websites feel free to comment them and I can check them out then pass them on to him, the search is on Oppo!

Has he considered a Maserati? I love Italian car’s and Maserati is the grown ups Ferrari, so you can’t go wrong there. You can have a fun car, but not look like your buying a mid life crisis car. Plus Maserati’s depreciate so fast that leasing is really the only thing that makes sense. Personally I like cars that are not common, and Maserati is certainly not a common car. Lease rates start under $1000 for anything other than a GrandTourismo, which is still under $2000.

I like AMG GT S and S550 Coupe. I think a Maserati GT would be a screaming deal right if he loves bragging about how cheap he was able to get something and that still seats four adults. He may be able to grab an RS7 or M6 GC but I don’t know how lease figures work in that range.

Personally though, I’d grab either a CTS-V or C63S if it was just about driving something incredible without pulling unwanted attention. Maserati GT is awesome if he wants a convertible that will seat four and just listen to that exhaust sound. Even better is that by the time he turns it in the new Alfieri and GranTurismo should be out.
